Check at local shops that install contractor boxes.

Also check at local salvage yards. You might get lucky and they will have one or can get one shipped in quickly.

Good luck on finding one from a person. New vehicle manufactures are not required to release rights for aftermarket parts unit 2 years of productions. Try my friends at junkyarddog.com. They will get results from salvage yard all over the US. You may find one has been wrecked in the front and the tailgate has been salvaged. It worth a try and it is free for the service.

You can try this website to find a used oem one. It is called U Need A Part http://uneedapart.com. When you make a request on there, they send it to hundreds of salvage yards throughout the country who in turn will respond back with a price if they have the tailgate. I've used it several times to find parts for my Jetta with very good results. Hope this helps!
