after l bought it l noticed that the door didnt shut all the way, though it latched. the door would lock too, but you could pull out on it and it would move enough to see in a crack. Todat l went out to the car to get something and went to shut the door and it wont latch shut. l didnt notice it to be hanging down at all like the hinges or anything...i think its the latch maybe...help...what could this be, can l fix it on my own and if not how much does it cost to fix something like this???
but the door never shut rite in the first place...think grease will work for that?

See if the latch is adjustable. Also try to lubricate it with white grease.

You need to replace the door striker. Its the part that the latch catches on. There is a bushing that wears out because its plastic and the only way to get it is to replace the striker.
