What would be some good tire sizes for a '88 Mustang? l would like to have the wider and bigger sidewalled tires or drag radials in the back and not sure what in the front. Should l keep stock size tires in the front and wide-walled tires in the back? Tell me what you think!

Go with the wide ones on the back..

for the rear 16 inch rim, drag radial, 245 50 16. thats your baseline, on a 15 to 17 inch rim keep it the same tire height + - half inch. For the front, if you do alot of track drag racing, go with some skinnies. around town keep it around. a 225 50 16

I'd go 245/45/17 front and rear, it will also depend on wheels that you use,whether the stock or replacement. 4 lug or have you converted to 5 lug? l went to a 17'' cobra wheel with the 245/45/17 and looks and hands super! Just went to the 13'' COBRA brakes and STOPS instantly. l have a 90 GT.
