Hi l have a 1994 Ford Mustang Gt.Started out with a 5.0L HO engine with messed up wiring.l added a carb to this car and the automatic transmission would come out of overdrive, so it was replaced with a T-5 Transmission.Now the engine is on its last legs.A friend bought a 1997 Cobra and turned it into a drag car.He gave me the engine transmission and rear end.Only thing missiong is the wiring harness and computer.Do you think it is worth the time and effort to put this in my car?
The Cobra was hit in the drivers side.It was a great car with only 36k on it. it is not road worthy he added a big block, power glide and narrowed 9 inch Ford rear end.

The only person who could make this call is u dude. it depends on how much u like & value the car, if u like it enough then go for it. if not dont. but l have a question, why didnt ur friend just give u the entire car? whats the point of giving u the engine & transmission & rear end? so now he has an empty car? unless he dumped the cobra engine in favor of a different 1? which is kinda dumb, he could have sold tht car bought an old 5.0 & made tht a drag car & used the xtra money on parts for it.but im rambling, its really a personal decision.is it worth tht much to you?

well the motor give to you, so that save a lot.so that now leave you with the wiring . you can go to a junk yard an get a wire harness , at a fair price. me l say go for it

Absolutely ! Tons of potential, and it will go right in. l own a '97 Cobra myself.
