Have a 1998 ford windstar the when l use the fron door locks it will inlock the sling door and back hatch, but not the fron doors. Can you advise me on what might be wrong>

l have a 1998 Ford Windstar but, have not had that problem. l can only speculate that the solenoid in the front door locks is broken or simply bad.

l have a 2000 Windstar with exactly the same problem. The actuators for the front doors are a crap design and $220 apiece. You can try lubricating the actuators, but that is a temporary fix. l just manually lock the doors. It is fun to hit the power lock button, leave the door unlocked, and watch the alarm go off next time someone opens the door.
