how much wil it be to change my automatic transmission to a manual trans. for my 06' mustang v6

You should get a real answer from a transmission shop, but l will guess around $2000.

About $1200 for the transmission & about $800 for the labor to remove ur old tranny & replace it with a manual.

There could be some additional costs for modifications if hole in the floor for the shifter needs to be relocated, & shift console needs to be replaced.

And there may be some core value from ur old automatic if it is still good that offsets this cost.

that would not be to hard at all for a person with good wrenching skills, the cost would depend on the salvage yards in ur area & the availability of a good wrecked Donner car. every thing from the clutch pedal to the transmission will drop right in. the shifter u will have to cut into the trans tunnel for alignment. this really is a lot of work but l done it twice on older mustangs & found it to be fun & rewarding. hey do not forget to install a pilot bushing into the crank shaft.

could be as much as $4000. l would go with getting a dynotune or a handheld tuner instead to improve shift points and firmness. Its your choice though.

It is gonna cost u more money then it would to sell ur car & buy the same exact one with a standard transmission.

Idk but all u people must be forgetting u have to buy the whole transmission which is probably 2-5k alone. Then u have to pay for the labor, assuming that if u do not know it would cost more u do not know how or have access to a lift. You would have to pull the entire engine out, refabricate the interior, put in the new transmission drop the engine back in. It sounds simple but it is long & a pain in the u know what..
