My dad just bought a 2008 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauerfrom Universal Ford yesterday night, It is sync compatible, and has an Auxiliary Hole to put the cable in, l was just wondering if the car was supposed to come with the cables, It came with the Tow hitch, and They added some features to it too, But they forgot to get us the winter mats, so l have to go back to the shop and ask them for it, l also have to write them the check. :-/ Just wanna know if we were supposed to get the auxiliary cable with the car or not...

no it doesnt come with the auxiliary cable you have to purchase it on your own. it only costs about $10-$15 or maybe less

No. The cable to use is the one that come with your MP3 player.

If the port is a 3.5 mm port (which is the same size as your headphones) which l am pretty sure it does, then you can buy your own. l have one that is like 6 inches long, no idea where it came from, but something like that should work just fine and for a small price.

You could ask the dealership if they are supposed to supply one, but they may not so just be prepared to buy one.
