l am thinking that my fuel pump isnt wokring in my 91 eb falcon. l was wondering two things.

First what is the best way to check and see if the pump is or isnt working?

And second, if l do have to replace it were is the pump?

go to a garage and have it checked out.

l am a mechanic for ford so l think l might be of some use. why do u think its not working? wo not it start?

To see if it is operating at all, u can put ur head under the back of the car (near the fuel tank) & get someone to turn on the ignition. u will hear the pump if it is working.

If u have to replace it, pull up the carpet in the boot & u will see a round cover that will be glued down. Lift that up & under it on top of the fuel tank is the pump, held down with about 8 or so screws. You will need fuel line tools to remove the lines off the top of the pump.

Good luck finding a pump though, as they do not make them anymore. l hope that helped
