l want this car but l think the grill and hood is ugly.
l was thinking l could put a different hood on it. Is there a way l could do this w/o nig rigging?

l dunno that this is any great improvement.

You may replace the grill with some custom grill which u can easily make or pay someone to make a nice chrome bar grill or whatever.

And u might take the hood u have & add a Ram Air scoop on it or something if u r trying to go for more sporty look.

This is a classic era car & if u care about resale value it probably maintains the best value if u keep the original appearance & do not bother with any weird modifications.

You might look for a mercury version to the Galaxie, they might innerchange. Other than that, your left to cutting the hood and installing a scoop or something, but remember, once you cut it.aint no going back. You might be able to go back or forward a few years and see if anything looks better, they ran the same size.just a different shape till they changed the style.

try a plane model or LTD 68 to 72..
