l got an 04 ranger with 60k miles.
this thing is falling apart.has anyone else had any similliar problem with a ranger?
they have been up kept very well
some of the problem l have had are,
4x4 wont engage, and when it does it wont disengage
cluth whent out
rear end went out
alt went out
misc fasteners came loose on the int
cant keep an alignment
i bought used.had around 12k miles on this was back in 06.not sure if the previous owner had any problems with it. or how they treated it.Since l have had it, it has been maintained regularly.l really love this truck truck but dang. might be time to move on.

No! l have an 01 Ranger with 70,000 and it runs fine. A bit of preventive maintenance works wonders on most vehicles.

It is called ''doing maintenance''. l put 200k on one, never had a problem.

l have had 3 ford rangers and they all have been great. Well, except driving in snow even with a bunch of weight. Could you be more specific on the problems your having?

Did you purchase it new or used? Maintaince is real important. My 2001 has 144,000 miles and going strong.

l have had 3 rangers, and all of them have held up surprisingly well.
