When l start it, it make a popping sound. this only happens when l start it. What could this noise be?

Also, when l push the clutch in, the car makes a ''whoosh'' sound. It makes it when l am in neutral or if l am driving the car down the road. What could this be?

One more question, l hear a noise when l have the hood propped up. Its kind of hard to describe but its kinda like this....shh..shh..shh..shh..and so on....it always does this. Same intervals.

The exact problem is a burnt out exhaust valve. l would find out which cylinder it is coming from

Sounds like the clutch to me man my car is currently in the shop because swapping out the clutch . It did the same noise kinda like sh sh sh sh even if it was just idling or in gear with the clutch in. Get ready 2 replace the clutch.

the engine may have a bad cylinder and looses compression, that would explain the sh sh noise, when you push the clutch in the slave cylinder can make a noise too that sounds like leaking air,does it ever have drops of oil under it where the slave cylinder is ? ( drivers side ) the popping noise sounds like a timing issue, but that could be the ecm doing that too ( the computer engine control unit )
