When the car died it was at a stop light. It had been sputtering for about 100 miles. l checked the spark first and it is fine. So l checked the fuel pressure, there was none. So l dropped the tank and installed a new pump. Now the engine cranks and has spark but still no fuel pressure. Is that kill switch a possible issue and if so how do l fix it?

You can try re-setting the shut off switch, it should be in the trunk on a ford, or it could be your fuel filter or fuel pump relay.

Check the common stuff. Fuse for the fuel pump, fuel pump relay, powers and grounds to the fuel pump. IF there is good power to the fuel pump and it is running, is your fuel filter ever been changed? If not, It may be possible that it is restricted
