l have put 2 new batteries in it and a new camshaft positioning sensor in it and still nothing. Does any one have any ideas what could be wrong with it?

well it sounds like the glow plugs are not working correctly the 7.3 is awful about its glow plugs

if its not even trying to fire up then maybe air in the system or diesel pump failier,to check for fuel loosen a injector turn car engine if no fuel pumps out then its the pump

Check the following Items:
Air intake/Filter
Alternator
Starter
Diesel Fuel

Make sure there is enough and the correct oil in vehicle
Do not loosen an injector to see if fuel is coming out !!

First of all, the 7.3 powerstroke is the crappiest diesel ever made. my brother has a 2001 dodge ram 2500 with a series 2 cummins and it started up in the coldest days of winter. l would suggest selling the powerstroke and getting the cummins, the REAL diesel. He has never had a starting issue ever

It could be your glow plugs, it could be a high pressure oil pump, ICP valve, l have seen a lift pump fuse blow and keep one from starting, it is under the hood and is one of the big ones.
