ford 3.8l when warms up oil gauge jumps around, changed oil pump, pressure gauge ,pressure release

Have you tried changing the oil sending unit?

mmm wonders what about the gauge. seem like your spending a lot of money on things you didnt need so whats it doing at gauge needle goes from low to high as you give gas or it just jumps up and down if it goes up and down as you give gas then its working and if it jumps a round its in the wiring

Changing the oil pump usually means changing the timing cover. If you just changed the oil pump gears it might not have help. Depends on idle or on road, if not pump, could be blocked screen, or worn out bearings.

Sounds like the sending unit to me. due to the viscosity of oil the acual oil pressure can not jump as rapidly as the needle is doing. definatley an electric issue not mechanical in the engine.
