My friend lives in Huntsville, AL, She bought a 2002 Ford Explorer which she intends to ship to Nigeria, but after she bought this car the car dealer told her that she needs to change the car title to her name b4 she can ship it overseas, which we later found out was very wrong. The car could have been shipped with the original title from the owner, but we did not know that since we have not shipped a car b4. We wanna use this car by Xmas, but we were told it can take up to 8 weeks to process the car title alone. My question is this? Is it possible to make the title processing quicker? Is there any other document we can use to ship the car other than the car title? While we are waiting for the car title, we need good shipping companies that can ship this car from either Florida or Georgia, bc these are the closest ports to my friend according to her. We have been talking to about 4 companies, but today we found out they are agents, and not real shipping companies. l was told that if you deal with agents there will be delays, but if you deal directly with the shipping company the car will be in Nigeria within 3 weeks?

did she sell it to someone over there? If so, you can be 100% certain it is a scam.

African child, l am not mechanically inclined when it comes to auto repair.
