the hood is open but will not close. l pull the open hood latch but nothing happens

You're going to have to attempt to get in there real careful like with a screwdriver. Use a kitchen towel, too, if you do not want scratches.

look like its out of adjustment,,use a screw driver ,and pretend its the hood,see if the latch move,if not lubricate and keep trying,if it does move adjust latch..

make sure your hood latch handle/cable goes back by itself after you pull it,,
