Is ford a bad car company ?

The company?
Or the product they make?

you mean ''bad car'' company, or bad ''car company''?

I've owned lots of Fords along with several GM is and Toyotas, a couple others; the Fords have always been consistently reliable vehicles, and except for Toyota, I've always found Ford to be as good as or better than the other car companies.

All car companies seem to have good and bad cars. Ford has no more of one or the other than the rest.

We have owned Fords for over 40 years with a slip up on a Chrysler (BAD car!) & also a classic Corvette & the Fords have always been super good cars (and trucks). But then, it depends on how u drive them, if u get regular maintenance & over all take care of them.

Ford is sales were down 32% in December but Toyota is were down 37%. Ford did not take loans from the government like GM & Chrysler. Ford is already headed in the right direction as to getting back to being a viable company.

Ford has award winning cars & cars that have been at the top of safety tests.

If l were buying a new car l would definitely buy a Ford.

Depends on what bad is. Cars today have more computers than the space shuttle, and that is something you do not need on a cars. Each car company has it is own good and bad

The distance between Ford and it is domestic competitors has generally been close. The Focus has not performed to expectations, the Mustang does well, trucks sell well and the sedans are mediocre.

l have followed the car industry closely for over 10 years and l can not recommend a car manufactured by Ford that is equal or better than it is Japanese counterparts.

Ford is trucks have a loyal following though.
