Bought the replacement PCV valve and tubing from dealer.The valve is at one end of the assembly and the tubing ''Y's'' into two tubes.The valve and one of the Y'd tubes are simple to get installed, but I am having a hell of a time installing the last end of the tubing into what l believe to be the exhaust manifold.Anyone know any tricks on how to get that last tube end slid into place.Any advice is much appreciated.My truck wo not even idle without these hoses attached.Thanks.
Thanks for the response.I've got the old one off, trying to get the new one on.Is there any trick to getting the new one on?I, too, used a flat tip screwdriver to get the old one off, but can not seem to get the new one off.It is almost like l need to remove the throttle body.Mainly, just wanting to know if it *can* be installed using only hands, without removing any other components, or if something more needs to be done to get it in there.

The last connection goes towards the back of the intake, depending on the year it either goes directly ti the intake or the IAC. It is impossible to see, u need to do it blind (by feeling the parts). l use a long flat blade screw driver, follow the tube with ur left hand & find the end. Then take the screw driver & let ur left hand place the tip of the screw driver at the end of the rubber elbow of the PCV tube assembly & pry it off. Install new end by feel also.
Yes it can be installed with ur hand ( l have small hands). Also as l mentioned depending on the year it goes to the intake or IAC valve, l am pretty sure that the elbows r different sizes. You might want to compare the old part with the new one. We always removed the old part first & took it back to the parts dept when getting the new one to ensure we were getting the correct part.
